The Spanish Association of Cognitive Linguistics provides an award for the best oral presentation by a Ph.D. student at AELCO 2022. The award consists of:
– An Award Certificate.
– Return of the Conference and Conference Dinner fees.
– The written version (article format) in English of your oral presentation will have the opportunity to be prioritized for evaluation and possible publication by the Review of Cognitive Linguistics (https://benjamins.com/catalog/rcl). Before being submitted to the journal for evaluation and possible publication, the article will be mentored by an expert who will advise the author through a pre-review process.

3. Submit a short CV (click here) and the materials for the oral presentation (PowerPoint, handout, or similar) to eventos@unirioja.es by June 22 before the Conference.
Additionally, the second and third best presentations will receive an award certificate.
We encourage the presentation of your research in poster format as it will give you the chance to present your research to an audience -larger than that of conventional presentations- at a one-hour-and-a-half session devoted to poster display. It will also make you an eligible candidate for the Best Poster Award granted by the Spanish Association of Cognitive Linguistics and consisting of:
– An Award Certificate.
– Return of the Conference fees.
